Double Ismart Review:- 

Double iSmart has received mixed to negative reviews, with most critics agreeing that it falls short of the original iSmart Shankar in terms of entertainment and impact.The plot revolves around Ismart Shankar (Ram Pothineni), who gets entangled with an international mafia don, Big Bull (Sanjay Dutt), who is desperate to transfer his memory to survive a brain tumor. While the premise offers potential, critics feel the execution is lacking.

Ram Pothineni's performance has been praised as energetic and engaging, especially during the transformation scenes where he mimics Sanjay Dutt's character. However, the film suffers from a repetitive storyline, poor character development, and an over-the-top comedic track featuring Ali, which many found irritating rather than funny.Technically, the film's music and background score by Mani Sharma were deemed too loud and unimpressive. The editing and special effects also failed to impress, with critics noting that the film could have been much shorter without losing any significant content.

Overall, Double iSmart is seen as a missed opportunity, failing to capture the magic of its predecessor, despite some bright spots in Ram Pothineni's performance and a few decent moments in the first half​
